As Global Ocean Technologies (GOT) on 29th June 2020 announced in an article on the company’s website, GOT has entered into a three-year frame agreement to provide yard stay, services and repairs for Maersk Drilling’s offshore drilling rigs.
Advokatfirmaet Kjær has acted as legal advisor to GOT and supported GOT in the negotiations with Maersk Drilling and in drawing up the contracts.
GOT writes in their article on the company’s website: "This frame agreement is of great importance to Global Ocean Technologies and our partners. We got good support from our legal adviser Morten Kjær Enger at Advokatfirmaet KJÆR DA".
Furthermore, Morten Kjær Enger at Advokatfirmaet Kjær has also supported GOT in setting up the contractual framework with rig giant Valaris which will govern the coming up yardstay and work to be performed by GOT on the rig Rowan Viking. As detailed in MacGregor’s announcement issued today, 27 August 2020 https://www.macgregor.com/news-insights/releases/2020/macgregor-secures-largest-single-vessel-contract-for-ohts-alfa-lift-wind-foundation-installation-vessel/, MacGregor has entered into an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for delivery to the OHT offshore wind foundation vessel, Alfa Lift.
